What’s the big deal about God’s love? Well, it’s the most incredible thing in the world! God’s love is off the charts – unconditional, sacrificial and life-changing. It changes people – not just an outward change – but a change from the inside out!
Here’s how the story of God’s love begins…
- It starts with…good news:
God created us for a relationship with Him.
- But…we need to understand some bad news, too:
Unfortunately, with our free will mankind chose to rebel against His perfection and this sin separates us from God.
- Even worse news:
No matter how hard we try, our sins cannot be removed or offset by good deeds.
- However…the great news is:
That is why God sent His Son, Jesus Christ. He paid the price for our sin when He died and rose again.
- The life-changing best news is:
Everyone who trusts in Him alone has the free gift of eternal life!
This is unfathomable love. This is the summary message of the Bible!
“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16 – The Bible
Most people think…
Most people think that God’s love for them is based on their behavior, their performance, the good things they do, or the bad things they don’t do. That’s not what the Bible says. It says that God’s love is an incredible free gift that we can only receive by trusting what Jesus did for us at the cross!
